We need a platform or space where we can keep sustainability indicators by areas. In addition, we need to be able to constantly update these results and see the progress of projects related to these indicators. In addition, the platform should have a space to upload official documents.

CONTEXT OF THE PROBLEM

There is a problem of automation in relation to the sustainability indicators corresponding to the areas of the company. For the elaboration of the sustainability report, to participate in spaces or to obtain distinctions, we need the corresponding information. Currently, we do not have this information properly structured, or our results are not ready. For this reason, it takes us longer than expected. As a result, we fail to map important information.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM

The problem is based on the lack of continuous monitoring of sustainability indicators. In addition, there is a need for a proper planning of projects and initiatives related to these indicators.

FREQUENCY OF THE PROBLEM

The problem becomes more acute on an annual basis, especially at the time when the information is required. The publication of the sustainability report is annual. However, other reports may be requested according to need.

PARTIAL SOLUTIONS

At this moment, our first solution is to map all the sustainability indicators from all areas. We want to determine all the initiatives related to them and see what else can be done. Additionally, we have a template proposal for the creation and control of sustainable initiatives or projects.

IMPACT OF THE PROBLEM

We lose a lot of operational time in managing the reception of all information. Sometimes this information is not available when we require it, so it takes time for the user to generate it and for the sustainability area to review it. In addition, in some cases, we identify aspects from certain projects that have not been contemplated since their creation.

QUANTIFICATION OF THE PROBLEM

We do not have quantified indicators. However, taking as a reference some of the latest processes, the development of these processes may have been delayed by this situation for up to one month.
